With a little over 2 weeks to go until the end of the Winter phase of our club virtual championship, the competition is heating up...
In the women’s event, Clair Howison has the honour of the fastest female over 5k with her 23:11 (17:55 handicap). With Clair’s run, the only addition, this means Rosemary Gallagher retains top spot, but Clair now sits joint second alongside Roisin Murray and Celine Addie-Lagorio in third.
In the Handicap, again Rosemary keeps her lead, however, it’s Roisin in a clear second with Clair and Celine joint third.
Paul Dudchenko is the biggest mover for the men with his 5-mile and 10k times. His 5-mile effort of 35:38 is the exact same time as Malcolm Hughes… but who would have won the sprint finish!? Paul’s 5-mile handicap time of 30:04 is also the best so far. Ian Fyfe joins the leaderboard this week with his 5-mile time of 36:24 (30:46 handicap).
In the 5k, Scott Cumming’s 23:12 is the fastest handicap (17:00). Geoff Pendrill got off the mark, with a 5k time of 22:24 (17:52 handicap).
Paul Dudchenko is the only 10k addition this week in 45:07 (38:17).
This means that Malcolm Hughes is now top of the male leaderboard, however, he has to share the lead with Paul, and Neil Anderson is pushed down to third.
In the Handicap, it’s Neil Anderson who this time has to share his lead with Paul and Malcolm in third.
