WJM Linlithgow Junior Fun Run 2019
6th October 2019 @ 2:35pm
Entries are open
The WJM Linlithgow 10K and Junior Fun Run is a prestigious and long running community road running event organised by Linlithgow Athletic Club. Each year around 40% of competitors are from the local area.
The event raises a modest amount of money that is used to help fund the work the club does in promoting and providing opportunities for athletics in our community. No individuals within our organisation gain financially from the event in any way.
Note that due to course restrictions only the first 300 entries will be accepted.
If the race does not fill in advance there may be entries available on the day.
Please note that entries are non-refundable and not transferable.

ASSEMBLY AND MUSTER
All competitors should be assembled at The Cross, by 2:10pm. There will be signs on the day to direct the runners towards this. Following the pre-race briefing, runners will be led to the start area. Please be aware that these arrangements differ from last year. Please follow start instructions given by officials. There are no changing and showering facilities available, so make sure that you know where or with whom you leave your belongings. The race will start at 2:35pm by the sound of a klaxon.
The 1.9k route follows the High Street towards the West Port before heading loch-side towards the Palace, finishing with a lap of the Peel. Some of the paths around the loch are narrow and the club cannot guarantee there will not be other users. Please obey the signals and directions given by route stewards – for safety reasons please do not wear headphones.
A Lead Cyclist will help guide the runners along the route and a Sweeper Cyclist will follow the field.
Water will be supplied at the finish of the race.
