Honorary Life President Award – Angus Gallie

Linlithgow Athletics Club is proud to announce that Angus Gallie has been awarded the title of Honorary Life President, in recognition of his outstanding service as Club President over the past 10 years.

During his tenure, Angus led the club through some of its most defining moments – including the challenges of the pandemic lockdown, a period of significant growth, and the successful initiation of the Junior parkrun. He was also a key supporter of the West Lothian Cycle Circuit in Linlithgow. Angus has given so much to the club, all while facing his own personal and health challenges with strength and dedication.

His leadership, vision, and unwavering commitment have left Linlithgow Athletics Club in a strong and vibrant position for the future.

On Wednesday 4th June, Angus was formally presented with a commemorative silver plate by Olympian Freya Ross, who also gave an inspiring talk to members of the club.

Please join us in celebrating Angus’s legacy and thanking him for his remarkable contribution to the club.
