For most of us it was a quiet week of running this week as summer and school holidays kick-in. However, on Wednesday evening Malcolm Hughes joined 12,500 runners at the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge. A 5.6 km (3.5 miles) race, for teams from various UK companies, in Battersea Park, London. Malcolm finished in 25:29.

On Sunday, Ian Logan and Hannah Danson ran the Crieff 10k organised by Strathearn Harriers. Ian finished the multi-terrain route in 39:24 (6th overall and 2nd V40) and Hannah finished in 01:04.

At parkrun, the Club had 10 runners at 8 different runs.

Mike Watts was the quickest Linlithgow finisher this week, finishing Hazelhead in 20:13. At Edinburgh, Mandy Cazes finished in 23:48 closely followed by Jill Horsburgh finished in 23:58. Roddy Simpson finished Greenock in 24:45. At Falkirk, Colin Hutcheon finished in 21:19, and Malcolm Hughes in 22:10. At Ganavan Sands, Neil Anderson finished in 21:20. Graeme Wilkinson was at Osterley finishing in 47:41. Scott Cumming ran Fell Foot in 26:25 and Scott Hyslop ran Polkemmet in 21:15.
