Seven Linlithgow runners ran the Dumyat Hill Race (club championship race) on Wednesday in a very persistent, wet drizzle. Despite the horrific conditions, David Mason finished in 45:15, Paul Dudchenko in 45:30, Scott Hyslop in 48:23, Lynsey Hay in 48:26, Martin Maginnis in 50:13, Jill Horsburgh in 59:28 and Bryan Grome in 1:09:09.
At the East District Track and Field Championships at Grangemouth on Saturday, Andrew McGill ran a PB (2:13:09) in the Under-15 800m heats and followed that by coming 3rd in the final in 2:14:07, a great run by one of our promising young athletes.
